alison, one might point out that there's probably a rather large number of people that you have thought of in passing who haven't died. It's sad to hear, nonetheless.
hmm... this "ERIC FRIGGIN CLARK"-off has become decidedly more entertaining since that first incredibly unoriginal and exceptionally dimwitted impersonation. I do have one question, though. Who do we know that's in Germany right now?

RIGHT ON, about fucking time:
ANTI-MATTER PROPULSION IN DEVELOPMENT AT NASA
Now let's just cross our fingers and pray that this technology is not subverted into purposes of weapons development. Nuclear-arms are terrifying enough, thank-you.

How bout my random street racing? Aren't I more likely to die before those 2 Kamen riders? Well actually kind of turned off racing after that Camaro blow up and the recent crackdown by the EPS on speeders in general. Suck too much to take it to the track, and not daring enough to race with cops around.

actually, yeah, rather good show - Thank You for Smoking - I would recommend it. not that anyone actually ever listens to me... meh, whatever. soon I shall be gone from this spring-like sunny city and venturing into the thawing netherworld of northern, forested Alberta... woo. oh, and hotels that do not have non-smoking rooms... netherworld indeed.
oh, and another person that I thought of in passing has died. this is excellent... my record is at least 3 now. If you ever knew me, I'd suggest that you continue to know me quite well, or risk that same fate (it's kind of creepy). Fuck, she was 24, and had just finished her B.Sc. in December. It was a car accident.
So, speaking of said coincidence, I've been thinking of you recent motorcycle owners a lot lately. I hope you're doing alright in our questionably stable spring weather. I am happy for you, just also concerned. And don't worry, I saw you both recently enough that, for the time being, you are preserved from my apparent curse.

I'd say it (Thank You for Smoking) was really good. There were a lot of hilarious scenes (including pretty much any of the scenes with Rob Lowe). And Aaron Eckhart really acquitted himself from The Core. I'd recommend it.
(Oh, and Andy, it turns out that David Koechner (the S.A.F.E.T.Y. lobbyist) was also in The Office (as one Todd Packer). So that's two connections to that show; the other being Melora Hardin (Jan Levinson-Gould).)
