hmmmm. why is it that all day when there were many poaple working and I could go, I didn't have to. Now that I am by myself, I can barely contain myself? oh well... at least a pretty girl has come in and started talking to me. sorta takes my mind off of the urgent. only an hour and a half to go till relief!!! gotta be careful, it is spring break. I must be wary. she might not be as old as she seems.
in other matters, I am going to a 80s themed pub crawl on friday for a birthday (sorry daggers), and am not sure how I want to approach this; punk, new wave, glam rock, Indiana Jones, Marty McFlyesq, Sparkling silver glove a la Micheal, short shorts a la Gene Simmons. or just simply find anything acid washed!!! so many options, such bad taste!

And let's not forget, or let's be told for the first time, if you're bored out of your gourd tomorrow (thursday) have I got the killer show for you! My new band No One Must Ever No is playing their (our) inaugural show. We're unlike anything you've ever seen, I promise.
You know how the Wet Secrets make up an album in a week? Well screw them, we make up songs on the spot, and only ever play them once. Each show is unique. We're also performance artists. And Optimists. So if you're interested, come down to Bohemia Cafe (11012-Jasper ave) Thursday at 9 for a FREE art and music show, including N.O.M.E.N. It's free? Yeah, it's FREE. And there will be things do drink and things to see, you can't lose. And you can have the hipster clout that will come with being one of the few people that went to the show. Oh yeah, and it's a CD release too, did I mention that? Free CD'S!!!! Limited copies!!!! So come listen to the show, get a disc, and not hear the same songs. Awesome. And it'll be a great warm-up for all you folks going to see the Daggers on Friday.
Matt Out.

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all run around in a darkened room munching pills and listening to repetitive music...

I just want to share this excerpt from my friend's blog, because this is too funny:
highlight: winter is so glorious. So last night i went to metal monday and as i was coming home i am directing the cab driver to my house making small talk and what not when he says... " oh i get it the one with the snowman". Not remembering the snowman when i left, but being rather sloshed i start to study this snow man and realize. hey.... wait a second.... that isn't a snow man..... its a SEVEN FOOT PENIS!!!! a very very detailed penis!!! I am pretty mortified because the cab driver is giving me this smart ass smile and embarrased i walk to the house. Not only is there a seven foot penis, but on the ground there is a little army of little penis's all over the ground. This is the kind of fun that i would have never dreamed of when i lived at home with my parents...

was it on Terra Informa? FUCK, that's the only show on CJSR I missed today because I was taking a nap waiting for somebody to arrive at the house I was supposed to deliver water to.
