(6.0221415 x 10^23) geeky, yes, but definitely taking care of all the really important numbers in it. (and I'm not mocking you... honest! I'm just a little slow on the trigger)

Unless I'm mistaken (and I very well may be), the value of pi (or as many numbers as I can remember for it) is 3.14159582...

So why take the SECOND set of three digits? I don't follow you.
