As for hockey, the Oilers got Sergei Samsonov today for a draft pick, Marty Reasoner and Yan Stastny.
Let the descent of Oiler fans into the delusional mentality of Leafs fans continue...
(For those keeping score, the Oilers have added Pronger, Peca, Spacek, Tarnstrom, Roloson, and Samsonov as big name acquisitions in a year; six players whose full-season salaries this year total $18.5 million. Damn well better make the playoffs...)
