update: My 'everybody's name ends in N' pool team has 40 points.

Joey Joe Joe Shabadoo has three points thus far in the playoffs. I am happy, but I am not pinning my hopes on him - not like in years past where he and a host of Oilers (YEARS AGO) gave me the winning pool score. Of my 20 player team of people whose names end in "n", Nathan MacKinnon (double N!) has given me the most points: 7 (6 assists, pretty awesome rookie year), and Brendan Gallagher has 5 points.

So as long as Montreal and Colorado stay in, I'm set. i.e. shit.

Hey Par,

As per your comment about Bruce Arthur: I totally agree. He's one of my favourite journalist-types to read (and follow on Twitter).

And yes, Joey Joe Joe Shabadoo is who I'm cheering for... mostly 'cause I picked him first in my family's hockey pool, so he'd better pull through. I employed a new method of player selection: names ending in N. We'll see how it works.

Figured as much. I don't wear my tinfoil hat that often but what else do they know that is harmful and not telling joe public about?

As we feared, NSA Said to Exploit Heartbleed Bug for Intelligence for Years:

The U.S. National Security Agency knew for at least two years about a flaw in the way that many websites send sensitive information, now dubbed the Heartbleed bug, and regularly used it to gather critical intelligence, two people familiar with the matter said.

What are the chances that the data the NSA exploited over the past two years prevented more harm than the real personal harms created by this bug being unpatched?

Bruce Arthur is great:

the Toronto Maple Leafs fell into 10th place Saturday night with an effort so hollow it could have contained a series of other, progressively smaller hollow effort

So, we're all cheering for Joey Joe Joe Shabadoo (i.e. Joe Thornton and the Sharks), right?

I have watched this a million times. It may be an only slightly exaggerated description of my life from 2000-2007:
