Congrats Par! Way to go!

My mom just asked me this weekend if you were married, too. Excellent news.

Yes congrats Par. Now that that's out I guess The Breakfast Club was only the second best news I heard all day :)

On an unrelated note, you need to update the weather widget.

Happy news:

I proposed yesterday. The woman of my dreams said yes. I'd say it was a good day.

hahaha, lovely, Beck. There's a Cosby Show one, too, ya know.

I can't see the Goonies being all that effective. Remember Chunk, and that mutant-looking dude? Hey you guyyyyyys!

haha, ok, maybe it WOULD be good.

Matt: agreed, definitely annoying. I've never noticed other Canadian comics using eh like that, but I can't say that I watch a whole lot of stand-up, sorry.

OMG OMG OMG!

Did you hear?!?

Best news I've had all day, bar none!

One of the best movies of the 80's, The Breakfast Club, has been remade and somehow looks better than the original.

I'm personally holding out for the Goonies remake.

Alison, re: "eh",

I don't actually think he was intentionally trying to say "eh" a bunch of times, it's just become part of the rythym for a lot of Canadian comics to throw it in as an accent, or prompt to laugh. He doesn't actually talk that way in real life. It was just something I noticed as bizarre and unique, not to mention annoying.
