William Shatner ftw:

Unofficial word on Wall Street is that Shatner, who was initially paid in Priceline shares when he became pitchman for the Internet travel website startup in 1997, is now worth a cool $600 million.

As for how to pronounce "Hummer" in Italian without being familiar with the connotation of the word... I'm guessing that they would drop the H, the U would be semisimilar to words like "umano" which is "human" and the er would be more like an "air" sound. ... leading to "oomair" for hummer. But that's just a guess. ... it's also what Google Translate pronounces it as in Italian.

So for all you Italian speakers out there, how would a native Italian pronounce the following word?:

Hummer

That is if they saw it for the first time and pronounced it without any previous experience in english. I got a bet riding on this.

Well like Go Nagai said you can't decide what you'll be remembered for so here is my contribution to the lingo lexicon:

One App Wonder

Basically a person who has designed an app for the iPhone, Facebbok, or a flash game, made enough actual money off their app to decide to quit their day job, and haven't been able to reproduce the same level of success with all their other subsequent apps.
