I believe ntldr is the Windows boot loader, and not finding it means that something is screwed up either with the Windows installation or with the formatting of your hard drive.
To save the data, you could attach the hard drive to another computer and try to copy it there, or, if you're so inclined, use a linux off-the-cd to boot your computer and try to copy your files from there.
Beck's basically right, though. If your hardware's fine, you can reinstall Windows and all is good. If your hard drive's the problem though, it's time for a new one.

Al: Kirsten Dunst got cut
Jesse: Not sure what a ntldr is, but if the hard drive is still in good shape I can save your files. If it's just a software issue you should be able to just reinstall windows, for hardware issues I have no idea.
As far as the wireless goes, it could be a number of things, most probably an incorrect configuration. Wireless cards can by default detect any broadcast signal with a public SSID, but to actually connect to one depends on the drivers being installed correctly and the router set up how you want it. For example back when linux had poor wireless support I had lots of trouble with encrypted signals, so I set my router up as an unencrypted wireless access point but only allowed certain MAC addresses to actually connect. That made it so anyone could see my wireless connection, and it would look available, but they couldn't connect. Now that linux has great wireless support I'm running encrypted, but with no MAC address filtering.
So, if you're offering money to fix you're problems, I'll have go.

two questions for anyone who knows more than me regarding qompooterz.
1. My computer seems to have lost its ntldr (new technology loader) and therefore won't start. tried rebooting it off of the xp cd rom etc but no dice. nadda. any insight on how to fix it or to whom I should take it to and give them money to A, fix it or B, recover my music off of it?
2. why did my computer (before it died) and does this computer tell my I have great signal strength to my wireless network and still not connect to this marvelous internet?

Kind of feels that way eh Beck? (Doctor Who picture, true love at last bit) I've heard grumblings all over the sci fi boards about the "twilighting" of the Doctor who series. Two young, good looking stars, and the first episode kind of reeked of some kind of connection love thingy. Well still a good first show for this season, can't wait to see the rest of this season. Especially those British Army Daleks!
