I dunno - are you still working on the clone-actress-escort service? ; )

No, I'd say the sketchy content of this website is substantially lower than the internet average.

I don't think I'm that sketchy am I? at least, I'm pretty sure I'm less sketchy than I used to be.

I'm going to refrain from commenting, because I don't have time to write my full opinion...

Has anyone tried Chat Roulette yet? I've read a bunch about it, and seen all sorts of crazy screen shots, but I just can't bring myself to video chat with some random person. Something about it feels creepy to me... something beyond the random masterbating dudes who reportedly comprise ~10% of the chats. I have come across screen shots of some pretty hot masterbating women, but I can't imagine how many random encounters you need to sit through to be that lucky.

So now that I have actual internet instead of a Rogers rocket internet stick, I figured I could ditch the stick and turn it into a cell plan. Basically changing a data plan into a voice plan as far as I see it. Apparently it doesn't work that way. Two totally different creatures it seems. Rogers and Telus(previous experiences) sure like to make things difficult for no real reason. I'd be giving them(rogers) more money than if I buy out the contract, and I wouldn't be giving telus any money. It seems like a win for rogers to let me do that. oh well, it's their loss. So now I've got to buy out that contract or...

Does anyone want to take over a rogers internet stick? If you are frequently without wifi and still need internet it is a cool toy. You know you want it!

This xkcd comic is fantastic, particularly the mouse-over. (which I can't make show up here for some reason, but if you click the link, you'll get it)

Is there a name for computer-murder? (other than "computer-murder" of course)

"Computericide" just doesn't sound right, but it's about appropriate for what I feel like doing right now. Stupid effing MS Word + Ref Manager... hell in software form. Between the two of them, I have had to reboot my compy (still brand new, less than 3 months old) over 20 times today alone. Often it did nothing besides blink on to a black screen and words like "Hard Disk Not Exist". I love my life.

As soon as this project is over, I am taking the bastard back to Future Shop and demanding answers asap. If it's Word (2007 - I hear there are major glitches... beyond just my experience), I'm ok reverting to 2003, I actually own that program, but seriously, WTF computer???

ok, sorry, /rant. I needed to get that off my chest. My roomies have all already had an earful over this, thanks for letting me use up some internet space. I kind-of feel like I'm in the midst of this scene. If only hopping around saying "whoop-a whoop-a" actually did something...

I actually found the second trailer way more annoying because of text: its sentence fragments that are already spoken by one of the most over-the-top "I'm narrating a movie trailer voices"; then the totally bland sentence "How close can you get/to the truth/before you/become the target" cut up and drawn out.... ugh.

I suppose that's the same complaint that you have about the visuals in the first trailer, but they didn't bother me. But then, you're the visual artist and I'm the writer, so I guess that makes sense.

Also, is it just me, or did the intro music from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sound like Lord of the Rings? And did the font from the Robin Hood trailer match the font from Harry Potter?

And I like that they toughened up Maid Marian.
