Peru is s a rediculous place. my spanish isn´t nearly as good as I´d hoped. I´m currentñy 2x as high as banff and hope to climb a volcano in 2 days. Running down sandunes is unbeleivable. sleeping on them not so much. Food is interesting. You can buy things while on a bus from a street vendor as long as it is done before the bus starts moving again (either through a window or he´ll come right onto the bus). Saw a mummified parrot. Doubledecker busses are sweet. but not for 10+ hours. thats my 4 days sofar as I can recall. asta la vista baby

To clarify I think you have to really want to be a doctor to go into medicine. You have to be beyond the attraction of money to some extent. Not saying it doesn't influence some people to choose medicine, but financially they're better paying jobs out there.

Just to throw my .2 in this money making discusion:

There are jobs that are alot easier to get into (schooling wise any ways, and getting admitted to a program) then being a doctor that make way more money. Granted doctors don't make a bad wage it ain't that great when compared to say your average wall street stock broker or investment banker.

That's why some people like the Babeanous(sp?) went into banking. They easily outpace what I make now back when they started working working. On the other hand with these financially turbelent times I couldn't tell you how secure job security is but when times are good the guys really making money are the financial types.

I'll be picking up a couple. If you have a special pie in mind, by all means. Otherwise don't worry about it too much.

Happy Pi Day, Everyone!

Jere and Dana have been gracious enough to offer to host festivities once again this year. So, if you're interested in some pie, come on by to Casa Gauthier around 7:00 tonight. And, if you're interested in some masochism, stay to watch the Oilers "play" hockey.
