And the wheel lands on: Family Medicine at UBC in Nanaimo.
By all accounts, it's a fantastic program, with the independent learning that I grew to enjoy during my rural clerkship. And on a day like today, I can't complain about the weather, either.
It's, of course, not going to be easy to be away from home, but it is a two-year program in a relatively accessible location, and I'm sure I'll be back on a regular basis.
In any case, despite the distance, I have to say I am looking forward to July 1, and the new challenges ahead.

Well, pending hearing back from Tony, who'd probably have an easier time getting downtown than to Westmount, let's say that it's 4:10 there. If there's a change I'll let you guys know, but if you don't hear from me, plan for 4:10.

Watchmen.
Saturday at 4:10 downtown?
I'm also open to the 4:30 show at Westmount.
Actually, I'm open to many a suggestion about this movie. Saturday or Sunday both work for me.

I must've seen that "Explorers" movie close to 400 times as a kid.
And apparently, a new Electric Six album came out back in October.

I never even heard of Dominic Moore until a week ago, and now he's all that TSN can talk about.
Also, I'm surprised at how not-painful this trade deadline was for the Oilers. Two forwards for Cole and a 5th round draft pick, essentially. Not bad. No help on defense, but otherwise fairly positive. Hopefully this means they make the playoffs, and lose spectacularly to Chicago in the playoffs. (Although squeaking out a first-round win against Calgary first wouldn't be bad, considering their gambles at the deadline...)
Finally, I love Brian Burke's big day for the Maple Leafs. After all the hype, he dumps Antropov, the aforementioned Moore, and picked up all of Tampa Bay's garbage in exchange for a late draft pick. Things are looking up in Toronto...

I think we talked about this movie at Par's party. Just so you don't think who ever brought it up was crazy and making things up here is the wiki entry:
