My parents made it there safe, after a detour through Delhi. Hopefully, things don't get crazy there.

Now that post just makes me think what's bothering me is just really minor.
Sorry to hear about the bad news Par.
Anyways I just have 2 rules I try to follow everyday:
1) Don't creep yourself out
2)Don't creep anyone else out
Well number 2 was acomplished today though rule number 1 was an epic fail times 1000.
Really nothing when compared to the recent events but just had to get it off my chest.

Fucking monsters.
My parents, who left Edmonton yesterday morning, had not yet landed in Mumbai when this happened, so they're probably in Frankfurt right now.
Still, I'm supposed to be in Mumbai two weeks from now. We'll see how that goes. If memory serves, though, Mumbaikars don't ever give the bastards the satisfaction of flinching.

Radiology's just not 8 hours a day interesting. To me, anyway. I couldn't imagine my life being reading films all day, even for just a couple of days a week. More power to people who like it that much, I guess.

It sounds like you're just glad you're not a radiology student in Vancouver. Or is radiology boring too?

This is why people hate political correctness (and student government):
Cystic fibrosis not "inclusive" enough for fundraiser, Carleton students decide.

Yeah, I got in Sunday afternoon. Downtown, too. Short walk to the hospital. All in all, not too bad. Except that radiology doesn't believe in setting up schedules for its elective students, meaning I've been spending the past two days trying to figure out where I might get good teaching. And looking at a lot of 25+ year-old x-rays.
I'm glad I'm not a radiologist.

I guess all that cheering outside my window has something to do with this.
