Ah Albert, always ready to throw gasoline on a fire. That logic of yours reminded me of something I took in philosophy class back at MacEwan. There was a particularly good example there:

-All men are mortal.
-Socrates is mortal.
(therefore)
-All men are Socrates.

Jeez Albert. Some girls like assholes. Some girls like men who never wonder if they're wrong. You, thankfully, suffer from neither of these rather gaping defects of character, which makes you a better person and less likely to attract girls who like domineering, egotistical pricks. This is also something you should be grateful for. Meeting girls is not easy, especially by the time you are done school. Most of us, if we are dating, are dating people we met in school. You're a nice, sweet guy who is going to be a great boyfriend to the right girl when she comes around. It just might take longer. But what you could do in the meantime is work on that self-esteem so that when she does come around, you're not so nervous about yourself. What do you want to bet that right around the time you get comfortable with yourself, just the way you are, she shows up? It's almost like one necessitates the other.
