Sweet orca of Mallorca!* Canucks could be minus Luongo in Minnesota:
Vancouver Canucks coach Alain Vigneault could be forced to start seldom-used backup goaltender Curtis Sanford for Friday's game in Minnesota if No. 1 Roberto Luongo remains in Florida.
Luongo left the NHL team early Thursday morning to be with his wife Gina, who was expected to give birth to the couple's first child later in the day.
But even if the baby was born Thursday, it isn't a guarantee Luongo could arrive in time for the 5 p.m. PT start.
*-Did Hermes ever actually use that one?
UPDATE: Never mind. Why can't the unpredictability of first-time deliveries actually help me for once?

Good video Par! It made me really hungry for a copious amount of fast and slow food.

at least it doesn't last very long (the sound)... you COULD turn your volume off, which is what I usually do.
in other news,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!
