That's sad news, the last of the great Sci-Fi writers of the post pulp generation is dead.
Truth be told I prefered Heinlein over Clarke.

their website makes it pretty clear, too... as do most of the t-shirt designs.
But, I suppose you're right. Though, with the same token, how many of us thoroughly research the backgrounds of the companies we choose to support by purchasing their goods? I mean, do you know the political associations (forget ethical or environmental) of your toothpaste company? how about the toilet cleaner you use?
