random question:
would you show a 13-year-old A Clockwork Orange?
It seemed a little too... mature for me at, um, 15/16 when I first watched it.

Ok, folks, it's survey time. Jsese and I were discussing this last weekend and we think it'd be a good idea to hold a listening party sometime in the near future.
So then, the question is this: who else is into the idea of a listening party? I know I've been wanting to dig up some new tunes and see what else has been out there lately.

woo hoo Jess! yay!
now THAT'S an incredible sign.
and a very encouraging one too
in other news, it has been suggested that those interested attend I'm Not There on Tuesday, at the Princess, for the 7pm showing. If this does not jive with your schedule, and you would like to suggest an alternative, please do, so long as it is not Wednesday.
Those interested are also welcome to e-mail me with suggestions if you'd rather not start a large board discussion about it.
I'm stoked, Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan should be AWESOME.... or crazy...

email from a comp lit professor about my research proposal:
"Your last proposal was very interesting, and this one is even better
and more focused. What you say is intelligent and perceptive and your
project could be productive and suggestive.
Thank you for working on this and I hope very much that I'll have the
pleasure of working on this with you."
I rock.
