I really shouldn't post when I'm sleep deprived. On rereading, I come off as more critical than I'd like. (For example, I know and knew that it was the RC's call on the road conditions, not yours, alison; my apologies for the misunderstanding.)
As for your sound issues, I can't even pretend to know what that's about. There's nothing on the site that sound be coming close to touching your sound card, save for flash, and there's no flash in any recent posts, so the only flash on the site is the weather info, which I don't think produces any sound anyway.
Anyone else have problems with their sound?
In any case, the old version is about one free weekend (whenever that comes) away from the scrap heap, so I'm probably not bug-fixing at this point anyway.
(And how the fuck did we miss a whole album??)

The new one: Mars Volta - The Bedlam in Goliath
Apparently, they even had a full-length out in 2006 called Amputechture.

> 'even' as in: in good condition, smooth driving surface and, if there are hills, they're of the more gradual kind - if I remember correctly.
> 'fair' is what the article you linked said. If the conditions at 8pm were such, it doesn't mean they continued to be such on the drive in to Edmonton. More appropriately, the minute you head south of hwy 16, the weather can change drastically, owing to the massive amount of topography... what happened in Robb, and what happened in Cadomin weather-wise might not be the same as what was happening in Hinton and Edson. Besideswhich, a professional driver - as I'd assume any bus driver is - knows how best to drive on a given set of road conditions, and is paid and expected to drive accordingly.

Happy Single Awareness Day!
That's right you! You couples should be celebrating your love everyday of the year! If you have a healthy relationship you shouldn't have to be reminded to celebrate your love for one day! I don't think it's too much to ask for one day for us single people to get some recognition. Recognition as in I'm single, I'm happy, deal with it!
Well there's my rant quota for the week.

Lists are fun:
- What do you mean when you say Hwy 40 south is "even"?
- "Fair" seems pretty generous to me, based on what the roads were like when I got to the hospital, and on the way to Edmonton
- Didn't know there was a new Mars Volta album
- I know I'm looking forward to Thursday. There's a good chance I'll get to sleep for once.
- Which version of MY website?
