I'll admit that I wasn't as big a fan of Superbad as most people, but worse than Eurotrip? That was some addling that sun laid on your brain, I think.

On a completely different note, anyway who's mentioned The Wire to me was exactly right. I don't know why hearing so many good things from so many sources make me less likely to watch things like this.

That said, I've got to take a break from this shit. I barely have time in my schedule for the work I actually have to do, let alone watching two seasons in the past week and a half. Goddamn. I need to actually catch up on this reading that I'm supposed to be doing. You know, learning.

But, you know, if you've got 13 hours to kill, the first season is well worth it. What it does to your life after that is your own business.

(Also, one of the things in the back of my mind while watching has been that Barack Obama's on record saying it's his favourite show, and that Omar is his favourite character. And while I'm afraid that second part will come back to haunt him -- I can almost see the attack ads now -- that's pretty fucking cool. )

so, uh, Superbad really is super bad... I far prefer Dazed and Confused, hell... even Euro Trip... as far as coming-of-age movies go...

at least the title's honest, right?

I guess I can't expect THAT much more from my brother and his friends' movie night plans, eh? Knocked Up wasn't half-bad though.

This will make your head assplode!

Cool Rendition of Zelda Theme Song The Legend of Zelda theme song played on Theremin with synth backing. Every song should be played on the Theremin.

-I want to play stuff like L'Arc en Ciel, Yellow Monkeys, Siam Shade, or Rhapsody of fire. I just liked his finger work it's very good, I just wish I could play like that. Still trying to get the hang of playing a guitar.

-Sorry about not phoning you Jsess, still recovering, don't want to get you sick with this weird flu/strep throat thing.

Al, if you like the type of music that dude is playing on the guitar, you'll love the new band I started. The two guitarists play stuff like that non-stop in really awesome "guitarmonies".

Have you ever listened to Mastodon? I love that band and some of the stuff they do is similar to that but a little more metal and not as much mega-man. You should check out their album "Leviathan". It's fantastic.
