Hello all! Ed and I won't be able to make it to the cornmaze, as I work until 3:30-3:45, we won't be able to get there on time! But if you're doing anything afterwards, we'd definately like to meet up with you!

Hey all, I figure I'll throw this out one last time. My soccer team is having a fundraiser pubcrawl tomorrow night. hudsons on campus to union hall and finishing at squires. tix are $20. As a bonus you'll even get to witness a mysterious newley married couple known to a select few as the Browndrews. aka scott and drana. the only way I can prove to you that they are real is if you show up tomorrow night! or you'l just have to take my word on it. call me if you get a hankering for a night out on a school bus! It'll be just like elementary school, but with less drinking!!!
if that hasn't convinced you, then repeat after me,
a pubcrawl is good, the pubcrawl is great, we relinquish our.... no no wait
nana nana nana nana pub crawl, pub crawl, pub crawl!
thats it!

Yeah sorry for coming off as angry or whatever, just bad day at work.
I just think sometimes we do things because it's what we know. Not doing it to our children would just seem weird. I think that was what was implied with the lineage thing. Until it's proven one way or another people will continue doing what they know.
Doesn't sound very smart... still too early.

Uh, I don't know what to say to that, Al. I mean, theirs is a religious reason (unless I'm mistaken and, by all means, correct me if that's the case.)
In any case, let me be clear here, I'm not out to tell people that they should never ever circumcise their kids under penalty of pain or some such thing. I gave my opinion because it was asked, but I was genuinely curious about the motivation. What you or anyone else actually decides is your business, not mine.
Perhaps calling the lineage reasoning "lame" was a poor choice of words. "Not compelling" might have been better. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

Well tell that to the Jews. Lineage for circumcision(sp?) right there. And why are we still talking about this? I think it's just a personal decision that is no one elses buisness except your own.
