Shotgun!

(EDIT: Although, on second thought, I need to get back home by 4 in order to stick to my self-imposed get-to-hinton-before-dark schedule. Maybe I should just drive myself... I'll give you a call in the morning, Leo.)

Well I'll give anyone a ride as long as I got seats open in my car so...

Is Ween worth seeing, Alison? Is Ween worth seeing?

Let's just pretend you didn't ask that. :)

But, sweet, I know what I'm doing on my birthday now. Thanks, Alison!

um, kind of reiterating Leo's comments...

WHAT IS GOING ON TOMORROW??

I'm going to LRT it over (hooray U-Pass!), but I'd gladly meet people somewhere there, if that works best... or I can meet people for the LRT ride too. I mean, I don't want to watch the game all by myself, and I can't see as it'll be easy to track everyone down INSIDE Rexall...

just let me know.

Roo, I'm sure you know this, but not only is nov 17 your birthday, it's also the day that the creators of the beloved brown album are in town...

is Ween worth seeing? ;)

and on another note, Chad Van Gaalen - the guy that opened for Feist at the Winspear - is playing the Starlite room on the 22nd (Sept). Can I interest anyone in joining me? he's a really great live act... particularly as a one-man-band...

Hi Alison! you can definately come by and pick as many as you would like! Just as a heads up though - one tree is pretty over-ripe, and we picked a lot of the other one. That being said, there are still a lot of apples.

James Howard Kunstler: The tragedy of suburbia.

When I get time, I've got to watch more of these TED videos. This one is definitely eye-opening though. One wonders how this fits into Mayor Mandel's "no more crap" philosophy of urban planning.

Hey Mary and Ed,

I have two questions for you:

a) how's the Joey Moss Cup working for everyone? as in, how does one get their ticket from you AND repay you as well? AND, are we meeting somewhere?

b) can I invade your backyard and steal some crab apples tomorrow sometime? my friend just gave me a jelly recipe, and I think I'm gonna try making fruit leather...

hmm... Jesse... that's an interesting turn of phrase... "come and join me in doing a line"

if it wasn't for knowing who you are, I'd be concerned... ;)
just thought I'd point that out...
