i'm not feelin' the Tony shot theory. I'm leaning more towards the Journey explanation - the song gets cut off before the line, "it goes on and on and on and on"

every day shit just keeps going on, Tony's still depressed, regular shit builds up and it's silly for the audience to expect this big movie mob blow out, when really throughout the series he was supposed to portray the every man (in a sense)

the real death scene in that episode was when he confronted Junior, and all his memories were wiped out.

but yeah that was admittedly a pretty powerful way to end the series. as was foreshadowed, "You don't hear it when it happens."

please explain to me why, when it's so bloody important to our careers on campus, does WebMail continually fail to function?

This whole log in three times to actually get to my inbox is driving me CRAZY!

Best of luck to the Polaris team from the U of A's Comp Sci department in July, when they pit their Texas Hold'em AI against a pair of professionals in Vancouver. I can't wait to find out how they do.

Damnit Par, now when I'm indecisive I'll end up with something I don't want. Not something I'll want.

On another note, can anyone please explain to me just what the fuck happened at the end of the Sopranos? Did he get shot? Is that why Tony's face went blank? Or was he just remembering all the good times as his choice in music suggests? I find the ending left me empty. I almost wanted him to get shot...

Soft Drinks for the Undecided:

Taking the surprise economy to another level, Singapore beverage company Out of the Box caters to consumers who respond to "What would you like to drink?" with a non-committal "anything" or "whatever". Two weeks ago, the company launched two complementary brands: Anything and Whatever. Anything is fizzy and comes in six flavours (Cola with Lemon, Apple, Fizz Up, Cloudy Lemon and Root Beer) and Whatever is non-carbonated (Ice Lemon Tea, Peach Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, White Grape Tea, Apple Tea, Chrysanthemum Tea). The surprise part? Consumers don't know which flavour they're getting until they take a sip.

That'll learn the indecisive.

Ok - sorry about this everyone...but I need to rant...

You know what's wonderful? When your lunch break at work turns into a get yelled at by customers because you're eating at your desk because no one will let you take your break! Grrrr...I'm starting to hate Saturdays.

Ok, I'm done. I feel better now.
