yeah aerio SX. in a lot of ways the Mazda 3 is probably a better (engineered) car, but the SX comes with lots of goodies (including a pretty solid soundsystem, all things considering how much it'll cost) that plus Automatic Mazda 3s have been sold out for like 6 months.
the aerio's it's not a super hot whip, but it's plenty more car than a basic Civic. and in the least it's made in japan

No worries Al, so which one did you get? I assumed you got the type S cause you were talking about it so adamantly, but my bad. As for the WRX, oh hell yeah I'd get my ass kicked so I wouldn't even try. Sure, I could have gotten a WRX, but then I'd have to invest in a hotplate and sleeping bag so I'd be able to live out of my car, and same goes for the beamer! Could have got a civic, but then I'd just be another typical asian guy driving his civic around (though in Medicine Hat I'd probably be the only asian guy driving a civic around...) and the civic had better be able to beat an altima in a corner, it is a smaller car after all. Regardless, like you said be happy with what you drive eh? you choose a car that suits your style, personality, and what you need. When I get a chance to come back up to Edmonton, I'd defintely like to take a look at your ride.

As a "family sedan" the Altima can still take on it's share of sports cars from 0-60, but that's not what I bought it for
MX-5: 7.0 seconds
Civic Si: 7.2 seconds
Infinity G35: 5.6 seconds

Oh and for the most part I do have a sports suspension, it's not super tight but it's pretty up there. At first it was kinda annoying but I got used to it quite quickly. and eric, is that the Swift you're looking at?

For real, real? Well it is a good everyday, just need to drive it car. You don't have a family to cart around, and you aren't using it to try to get some of your youth back by going fast. It's a very good car that stacks up pretty evenly with the cars in its class, Civic, Mazda 3, Corolla whatever. Only thing bad to say about it is that most people don't personally prefer it because it is a Suzuki. However as far as I'm concerned automobile companies are only concerned about making money off of us chumps. They don't really care what you want or have to have in a car, they just want you to buy a car, preferablly a new one. All auto companies are pretty much the same when it comes to reliability.

Just so you won't get in trouble with illegal street racing, numbers comparing 0-60 times of a Nissan Altima 3.5 SE automatic against a type S. (Believe me most V6s can beat a base RSX in a straight line.)

Altima : 6.9 seconds (automatic), 5.9 (manual)
RSX Type S: 6.5 seconds

Leo, not calling your car slow but you can't take corners like how a Civic can take corners and considering I didn't get a type S I don't really see a point. Plus compared to a BMW M3 and a heavily modifed MX-6 (plus the bastard's heavily modified Camaro) you wouldn't really compare. Oh and that WRX really would make your car seem kind of insignifigant. So meh I'm not really interested I already know I can get beaten by other guys and sides what the point of running a sport car (keep in mind a entry level sport car, nothing special just has good enough performance to be considered a sport car.) against a family sedan? Drive your car and be happy with it, if illegally racing against my co-workers has taught me anything it's that:

1) There will AWAYS be someone faster then you
2) You can't take corners like a Honda Civic (Not kiding here, on Autocross tracks these cars will eat you alive. They have the tightest turning radius, excellent handling and decent power. They can even give a WRX a run for there money. Yeah that last place guy sure showed us who could win on turns.)
3) A bone stock car is nothing to a modifed car. (Not ricer modified which is all show and no go, but crazy modified with all go no show.)
4) Sport suspension is only good on the track (Once again, enjoy the fact you don't have sport suspension. It's easy on your ass when you are driving. You don't want tight suspension, unless you want to turn like a maniac.)
5)Other people will come along and put you in your place if you won't do it yourself. (Once again a WRX did this to us, we were all humbled, even that MX-6.)
6)It's not a type S! (Dammit can't a guy get a car that looks cool and gets him from point A to B?)
7) There comes a time when you have to call it quits on illegal street racing and just drive your car just because. (In a year another car will come along and that will be cosidered cooler then the car you have now. You'll always be chasing after status or whatever but ALL cars become crap after like a year of being cool. Something will always come along. Even the Zonda F was made uncool by the Bugatti Veyerne (sp?) .)
8) Racing can be fun but only with people you don't really know. (You'll never see them again so it's all good if you beat them or they beat you. When you race co-workers make sure it's all in fun otherwise feeling will get hurt and you'll have to deal with it for a while.)

And to clear things up I had my car for about three weeks now, I didn't really want to say anything about it because I really didn't see a point. I just put that last post because that's how I was going to tell you guys I had a new car. There would be some gathering, we all leave when the party is over, you guys see my car, I jump in say: This is how I roll bitch. and then drive away. Unfortunately you all found out piecemeal so this never happened.

Sorry about the length.

Alison, I'm not sure about paypal, but Amazon does take visa, mastercard, and american express. It seems safe enough.
