when did you hurt yourself Jess? Depending on how long it's been since you injured it, I wouldn't suggest you get right back into riding, you probably could and not feel any ill effects, but there are potential long term issues that could come up later on. Of course, it all depends on what you mean by "out of alignment" but regardless, it means you've damaged the intrisnic muscles that stabilize your back and hip. I could talk forever about this, but in short don't push it and give your back proper time to heal cause you'll pay for it in the long run. email me if you want me to elaborate or want more info....

also, unfortunately I won't be joining all of you on the 27th cause I'll be on the road heading back to Medicine Hat, called a stupid 6 hour drive and working on wednesday

Alison, your only hope is to eat so many Lindt chocolates that you cannot stand the sight of them. Or, try to ease off to another chocolate treat that's easier to kick, like dark, bitter chocolate, the kind that tastes like death.

what on Earth do they put in those Lindor truffles? crack? I am so terribly addicted, and my body seems to be going to seed rather rapidly since my return to e-town. damnit, too much chocolate and not enough walking

stupid crack truffles. the people at Lindt sure know what they're doing. I'm hopelessly addicted... anyone know how to stop the dependence from getting worse? ;)

Yeah, I pulled all the muscles in the small of my back, which pulled a couple of vertebrae and my hip out of alignment. It is getting better slowly, and I should be back riding next week. I really really hope that will be the case!
And I will definately be there the 27th. Can I bring anything? Bake anything? Let me know.

Paras - while the hermitliness was sounding pretty appealing for a while, I got a message from my mom today apologizing for going nuts. So I guess it's all good. Yay!

Jess! holyshit girl, your back's still not great? wow, that's really brutal. Did you figure out what happened to it, or anything? my offer still stands, if you need help, just let me know.

So... I guess it's time for the big announcement:

the longstanding post x-mas tradition still stands
party at alison's house on Dec 27. byob, but food will be provided
more details to come. but be prepared for a silly game or two...
and everyone is invited, of course 'cause what would a party be if no one came?
