what the heck is the gigantic phallic symbol/rocket/tower thing sticking way up into the sky as you drive westwards down the whitemud towards terwillegar drive? Why have I never seen it before November/December, and where on earth is it? it's huge.

This ought to come in handy: How to Stand In for the Doctor:

Step 8 - The most crucial part of the visit has arrived - the pronouncement of the diagnosis. Look grave and serious, this will produce a moment of anxiety critical to success because you are actually going to give a survivable diagnosis. State in an unwavering voice: “You have a condition known as Todd.” If the patient looks bewildered, or even worse, laughs at you, then you may have failed. Do not give up. Turn the tables. Taunt the patient: “You have not heard of people getting Todd? Wow… where have you been?” Snicker. Then look grave and serious again.

I haven't seen the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe yet... but I saw Harry Potter today. I'd say miss grainger was worth the price of admission alone.

Actually, it had some genuinely funny parts too. That dude who plays Ron is gold. The only real tragedy to the film is that kid who plays harry potter himself. And the main bad guy was pretty lame, but all in all an enjoyable film.

(Beck: You are a king among men, and I thank you.)

Being Santa was sweet, there's no doubt about that. I even felt a little low afterwards; there was no longer a throng of adoring children lining up to see me.

Funniest Part: A child asked "Are you real?", so I grabbed his hands and made him touch me. His whole body shook with laughter and boyish glee. (Is there a less pedophilic way of telling this story? I seriously doubt it.)

Saddest Part: Either "I wish [name] would stop bullying me," or "I wish that my mom was happy."
