Eric: yeah, I have a list of all the albums I've archived. It's not as detailed as a track-by-track listing, but it does have the artist name and album titles. Also, Chris from this.is.oddyo e-mailed me and he said we can start mastering the LIME tracks in a few days. This weekend he's re-cabling his studio since he got a whole bunch more gear, so he's gotta do that first before he can master our stuff. I just got the FINAL MASTERED VERSIONS of the LDF tracks as of 20 minutes ago and am listening to them right now. What I am listening to is EXACTLY how the final CD will sound and all I have to say about it is "HOLY HOT SHIT".

Tony: yeah, Firefox is a piece of shit for me too. I always have problems with it. The only reason I have it installed is to double-check that my website designs work on it. Also, bookmarks are most definitely saved to your user-profile so if you switched users you'll notice they're missing. I'm not sure which OS you're using, but for me (win2000pro) the user profiles are in the "Documents and Settings" folder. From there you should be able to manually find your bookmarks and move and/or copy them to the needed user profile.

Sounds fair... I mean you put up with more years of BS at the U right?

Taking everything into consideration I'll probally take the engineering job from him, If he can actually get me one. I'm not really expecting that he can. I can put up with 2 years of BS as long as I have my RSX to get me through. Yep I'll just run as fast as hell to my car and tear out of that place after work every day. It's not really hard to get a job after say a year of abcense from a engineering job. The average time to get a job for a newly graduated engineer is 1 year. It is when you start to go to the 4 year mark were you have to go back to school to upgrade or something. The engineering society doesn't really want to scare undergrads and say you could never get a job. This job is related enough to the field that it could actually help me get a job over some undergrad with no experiance. We'll see I guess, everything is still up in the air.

Hey Tone, maybe try ending the process under the task manager and restart Firefox again. That usually fixes it.

and Andy, just for clarification, who promised you unfettered access to me? Though the phrase sounds like something I would say (vocabularily based), I can't see myself saying it.

so, I'd like to apologize for not posting again earlier. I've decided that Sunday is a better day than today (thankfully I posted it at least a day in advance). I don't know where to suggest we go, but if the weather is anything like it is today, I can't see the park being overly busy. (actually, isn't it supposed to get rainier?) So... perhaps we should meet near-ish one of those picnic shelters just in case the rain starts to threaten.

The first shelter in the park... past the humongous parking lot has a fairly decent open space near it, a nice sized parking lot and some of those rusting fire pit things. Like I said, I'll bring frisbee and marshmallows. I may even be able to find a football, but no guarantees. I'm thinking 2:30pm or so would be good... that way we can hang out for a bit and if people decide going out for food is a good idea, well then we can do that too.

so...
Hawrelak Park,
Sunday,
2:30 pm
near the first picnic shelter (just follow the road around to the back side of the lake)
bring your own sporting goods and food/beverages if desired

hope to see you there

Hey Al, will it be harder for you to find an engineering related position after taking time off doing unrelated stuff? Would a company hire you over a freshly graduated eng if you did this job for a year or vice versa?
