Hey Al, that's probably your best executed piece to date. The way the background is blurred compared to the sharpness of the subject is an excellent way to distinguish foreground from background and it makes a HUGE difference. Looks fantastic, man!

My presence will bring the end for all who bear the name Grand Arms!
Count Deathspecter is the pilot of Grand Arms Koniglich. He is the sworn enemy of the Grand Arms taskforce and Silver Shadow. Not much is known about him but what is known is that he posses advance knowledge of technology which far surpasses even 10th generation units like Jagdpanzer. It is suspected that him and Silver Shadow come from the same time period. They have been known to posses similar knowledge and have been seen to have similar technology. What ever his story maybe Count Deathspecter will continue to plan and plot in the background, waiting for the day to bring all Grand Arms down.
Well I tried a new method of designing that I got from Taylor. The problem is I start a design and get stuck trying to finish it. I'll be stuck on insignifigant details such as the arms or shoulders while everything else is done, I can be stuck for half a month trying to finish. But by quickly sketching down concepts I can take the best ideas and put it on the mecha. While I generate these sketches I can also develope ideas for other mechas. In other words I keep on generating ideas instead of getting bogged down on one design. When I gather enough concepts for one mech I can then quickly finish the mech. All the design elements would already be choosen form the best ideas and I wouldn't be bogged down trying to think up something.

2 pieces of news today.
1)I might be getting a job tomorrow. Not really engineering related per say but a machinist job which could be useful for the old resume. Just like most jobs these days I got this one by a connection.
2)Well it's kind of artsy and pretensious. I'll put it in a seperate post. If you don't want to read it ignore my next post.
