yeah no i know about the ibm intel switch. it's caused quite the stir. apparently apple's been boasting how their new machines'll be able to boot into either mac or windows - but a friend of mine was telling me that since intel chips are sorta designed for windows the start up sequence will loadup like it's going into windows first and then give you the option of starting up Mac OS . *shrug
hard to say if this will do any good for anyone. we'll see.
anyways my Mac'll still be a trueschool Mac.

speaking of apple...

anyone else find it ironic that MICROSOFT'S XBox 360 is really just a pair of Apple Powermac G5s???

oh hey... Eric, I forgot to mention this earlier but I just remembered now. You were saying you want to get a Mac. I'm not entirely sure how this is going to affect Macs in the future, but starting in 2006 Apple is going to be using Intel Microprocessors in their products. Esentially, in about 5 months, macs won't technically be macs anymore anyway. Not sure if that affects your decision or not, but I thought you might want to know.

But as Geordi Laforge said "don't take my word for it"; get it straight from the horse's mouth.

Of the handful of times I've been printed in newspapers, I've never once been published in a correct verbatim fashion. Worse, I've never once been published without being "editted" to produce non-sensical sentences and then subsequently gramatically incorrected.

Welcome to the club.

Why would they leave the second elephant reference in there after removing the first.
Now it doesn't make sense!
