well, that being the problem - its that i have ever looked at the house number...Judy just told me she lived on Oak St., and that she'd give out her full address later. which she did. and instead of looking at it, i put it neatly away in my desk where i wouldn't lose it...
here's for an eveing of trying to recognize random cars!

Mary - I would suggest you go to the party, have a good time, relax and drive around sherwood park for a while- if you know the street name, maybe the number will pop in your head as you see it.

hello all...i seem to be faced with a bit of a conundrum:
this evening, i am supposed to go to a work BBQ in Sherwood park; but, being mary, i forgot the address for the BBQ at work, where it is neatly tucked away in my desk.
so do i
a) drive to sherwood park, since i know the street name, and randomly drive around looking for cars i recognize, or
b)blow off the work party, even though i've said i would attend?

Don't worry about it Par. It is just that when you have so few people willing to do something on one day even 4 people can make a difference. On a usual outing that is about 50 percent of the group going out that night. Thus a large concentration of bodies is easily found in one place at one time. The rest are scattered in smaller packets that are harder to form together cohesivly. In the military this type of scattered grouping would be called "Reticulan" (off a John Ringo book if anyone is interested) in some ways it is easy to bring together as long as you have someone willing to form a rally point and make sure everyone goes there. Not blaming you guy but it was my fault and I was lazy that night. I went to sleep after posting my last message that night.

Yeah, you can still do stuff on Friday nights! Take me for example; I totally went to work tonight even though there was geekfest!
Fuck my life sucks.

Actually, Tay, I'll already be at the U, because of work. I can meet you at the sale, but probably not much earlier than 12:00.
Right forgot geekfest. I don't think these fridays are good ideas to do things.
I don't think I was informed about when Beck, AD, Andy and I were the be all, end all of things to do Friday nights. Last time I checked, we were just four people in a group of... um... far more than four. I fail to see how our minor compulsive ritual should stop others from doing stuff Friday nights.

This dudes' blog is awesome in the worst possible way. Here's but a small sample of the gold:
People started doing keg stands, which led to perhaps the defining moment of the trip. This one girl, who was ugly and a bitch (thus, didn’t have basic human rights) started doing one. Don't ask me why I did this, because I have no idea why, but when she was upside down, legs spread apart, I punched her right in the vagina. This caused her to violently spit up the beer she was trying to consume, and fall backwards into the two people holding her up, all of them splashing to the mud. - from "the UT Weekend"
