I was trolling this board and I have to put my two cents in. That swastika is the buddhist swastika and is no way a nazi symbol. The Nazi swastika is facing the other way, is black and is actually slanted at a 45 degree angle. The buddhist swastika or more appropriately the Jain swastika has been around far longer then the nazi swastika. People in asia would associate that swastika with buddhism. It is quiet obvious that the person taking that picture knew he would get a rise out of us westerners who normally associate swastikas with the nazis. But remember all skinheads and neo-nazis would even say that was not a nazi swastika. It would suprise you that they would be offended that people would call that a nazi swastika. Not like I'm a white supremist... I think it was good that the picture got us talking... Now back to trolling again...blorg... blorg

I think the point is being missed. They KNOW it's not a swastika. They weren't ACTUALLY offended.

I thought it was ironic that the people were using a derogatory slur
to condemn another assumed derogatory image.
I understand that the swastika means more than what the nazis appropriated it to be
I didn't think it needed to be said
mostly because the guys who commented on the image didn't seem to realise this
and they were taking it at "face" (meaning western nazi-intolerant/biased) value
so I thought I would too.

Yes, I know, PC or not PC, whatever.... it's so "difficult" these days to know what to do
but I still thought it was ironic that they found the swastika so offensive
and immediately appropriated "gay" for their own offensive attack.
