um... what was I going to say?

Jess, you did well today, I enjoyed your imagery immensely
    the event was quite entertaining

This is such a grey day, it feels like it's slowly pulling me down
not really in a depths of despair kind-of way, but somehow still pulling me down
It's been a long week, and next promises to be even longer, I fear.
This is so close to the end, it's scary.
only a week and a half left, can you believe it?
I have a week and a half to put together a 100 resource bibliography and a 25 source lit review
plus this coming week also involves the final edits of a paper
and a presentation on the Cheviot mine, which sadly has returned to possible development
and at least two final exams in the next 12 days, if not three.
I don't know if i'm up for it, but I'm not up for the alternate choice either.

the ECOS job application I put in has not garnered any response yet from anyone in "power"
yet my friend Leila told me that only 3 people have applied
(three 'worthy' people - her words, not mine) more people applied than just the three
of whom I am one, and the other two I met the day the application was due
I'm afraid I'll get it. but not too sure just yet.
The one man was, I don't know, there was something about him that
didn't seem to gel with the whole ECOS direction/requirements
The other woman who applied was super sweet, and she's got a lot going for her
I actually hope she gets it, to be honest.
perhaps part of why I'm afraid I'll get it

And now, on a different topic,
I gotta get me a forester!
The foresters I have come to know over the last few years are wonderful people
and they're all so outdoorsy and friendly and strong
and they know how to use a compass, and have a healthy respect for trees
one of them is going to Uganda on a CIDA internship to work on Sustainable Forestry
with his wife... if it weren't for his wife (who is a wonderful woman)...
that's the one problem with the whole predicament
but I'd say from whom I've met, they're definitely worth looking for a single one
(gee, was that desperate? I hope not!) ;)

Good luck on your interview Par. Don't worry the whole board won't go to hell in a hand basket... it'll get sucked into hell by some dimesional vortex...

I have so much stuff I would love to get rid of. You have no idea. Please come and take it off my hands (brushes and brush box, halters (no ropes - I lose them), bridle, polo wraps, boots (for horses), sticks, saddle pads) I think that's it but there might be more, I'd have to look. Come take it away!

Also, I have a saddle (a kid's saddle), good shape, that I would like to sell, do you know anyone?

Man, I get on the internet all the way from the backwater, primitive land of Ontario (?) and this is all I get? Pam pretending to be Jess? Boo-urns, I say!

And, Percy, you should now learn the valuable lesson. When someone says "don't click on this link," then, for the love of God, don't click on the link.
