- just checking out links,
I visited Musicplasma... pretty cool, I must say, perhaps it'll help me find new bands...
but I typed in Audioslave (being 3/4 RATM) and nowhere on the screen did it cite Rage Against the Machine as even closely related.
Actually, RATM was nowhere on the screen at all.
Though Zwan was.
Even more interesting, Coldplay and David Gray are more closely linked to Audioslave than Led Zeppelin and the Who.
I wouldn't have guessed that at all.
Interesting idea though. Apparently my tastes in whatever genre Massive Attack can be considered all are quite similar...
seeing as I have some of the other bands already...
so part learn more new bands you probably will like based on your tastes, and part see how predictable your tastes already are.

- he smashed his teeth in curling?
how is that even possible?
and by the way, I was not saying I wanted to learn more html,
just that all I had learned was how to post images and web links
so no test, Pete, regardless of how bad you want to see vicious ninjas fight me
oh oh! I finished my scarf. It's blue and funky, and I'm happy.
next stop... more scarf (I think) maybe this one will be striped... colour preferences anyone?
maybe mittens... but that involves buying more needles, and I'm cheap

- I know what you mean I'm 250 points out of first place in one of my hockey pools and 200 points out in my second one... maybe I should just stick to playing the game.
New Mos eh? Sweet, new music to cruise to on the mountain, right now it's blackalicious, hot hot heat and the weakerthans guiding my board downhill. Do you happen to have any alexisonfire? I have only a couple of tracks and am in desperate need for more since the cd stores down here haven't even heard of them... you gotta feel for these kids only growing up to the rich choices of Beyonce, Brittany, R (kelly), and those other incredibly talented musicians. Hey have you managed to get the spooner yet? If not I'll see what I can do about getting a copy of it.
But in completely different news, we were curling last night and ryan (another co-op student) came over to me and said "Dude! Kenny (co-op) just smashed his teeth in!" of course I didn't belive him because he was more french than me. Then I looked over and to my surprise there was Ken, on the ice, holding his mouth. After he got out of the hospital he looked so hardcore, just like those classic hole-in-teeth looks, those NHL'ers from past years have broght us.

- Thx to everyone for the Bday party. After yesterday I suspect I'm progressively losing my tolerance of alcohol.
See you at the dark side of the moon.

- Excellent... my work here (with respect to HTML) is done. If you want to test your newfound skills (haven't I posted this before?), there's always the U of A's helpful How to build a Home Page for www.ualberta.ca, written in 1996 (Yikes! We were still in junior high!)
Couple of interesting links here, today. For the "Let's-piss-off-Gates" file, there's MikeRoweSoft Design. A Victoria Grade 12 student, Mike has apparently run into some legal problems with Microsoft. Apparently, it has given him some airtime on CNN. Well done.
Also, for those looking to see what fits their musical tastes, there's the ever trippy musicplasma. Just type in an artist name, and it will give you a neighbourhood of similar tastes.
And finally, for Albert, the Random Name Generator. I realize posting this will just give me more of a headache when trying to figure out who is posting what (by the by, Owen Lowes, Jr., is our eccentric Yeong-man), but whatever.
