- I got to my stats lab and started working on lab #2 as we did #1 last week. It turns out we're still doing lab#1 this week as well. How dumb. I was done days ago...
Anyway, if anyone wants to learn HTML this is where I learned it. It's a very good tutorial, goes through all the basics with examples and the way it is written is quite entertaining as well. It took me all of three hours to learn everything. Theres other stuff on there too like Java and whatnot for more advanced... stuff...
But yeah, check it out.

And Alison, if it's any consolation, I had planned to write up a page about how to display images and create hyperlinks, and all the other fun HTML stuff. I really did. I just never got around to it. Why am I not doing it now, while I have time to post on the message board, you ask? Good question.

- Paras, exactly how is alison learning html "things going wrong"?
Well, I suppose you should feel reassured by the fact that
I only know those few things that I've used thus far,
and that I had to write the more complicated ones down.
I've really decided now that i'm an analog person living in a digital world.
yay knitting!

- If you were ever interested in the satellite photos that NASA has, visibleearth.nasa.gov is a great place to take a look. Don't be too eager to look for any of Edmonton, though. It appears that, despite nearly 300 satellite images of Canada, there aren't any of Alberta that don't involve fire. In fact, if you believed NASA, this country would be forest fires, phytoplankton blooms off of Newfoundland, James Bay, and the Foxe Basin (okay, admittedly, I've never heard of the Foxe Basin. NASA is quite intrigued by it, though.) Here's an interesting shot of "one of the largest impact craters still preserved on the surface of the Earth."
