i have some good news- my puppy is starting to put weight on her foot- so this means- maybe- no surgery because it may be a partial tear instead of a complete tear

Or- she is so drugged up that she just doesn't feel it anymore.

And Jess- (or anyboby else who knows my puppy's) It's Kayla.

One word for you: Kidnapping... If I can kidnap the heir to the Peacecraft Kingdom I can surely kidnap Percy.

AD, I don't know what's more troubling: Percy's problem or your past.

It's a sad time for space observation. Sure, NASA has plans to go to Mars and build a base on the moon (I'm still a little skeptical that this will happen... there's no oil on the moon), but, because of safety concerns regarding shuttle missions, the beloved Hubble Space Telescope is being abandoned. The periodic servicing missions, necessary to keep it in orbit and at peak operation, have been terminated, and it will join us on Earth once again around 2012.

Hubble, named after the astronomer who first showed that the Universe is expanding, was launched in 1990. It was an effort to eliminate one problem that has plagued high-power telescopy: the atmosphere. The Earth's atmosphere causes distortion which, though insignificant for low-powered astronomy, causes problems when astronomers wish to image distant objects in sharp focus. Hubble was launched as a solution to this problem: an orbiting telescope, that had no such distortion problem. Though, initially, the Hubble mirror was out of focus by a few microns, enough to cause blurring of objects, the problem was corrected early, and the telescope has beamed back brilliant stellar images ever since.

Alas, soon the days of the Hubble Wallpaper will be no more. There is still hope, as the James Webb Telescope is in the planning stages, but it will not be in orbit before Hubble crashes. And, with the one-year examination period before pictures are released to the public, it may be some time before we are treated to these brilliant pictures again:

There's only one way to resolve Percy's poor situation. To bad he'll never go for it. It involves a hatchet, or a baseball bat if you prefer. A lot of shoulder strength, and a wood chipping machine. a river to wash everything clean. Or a really powerful furnace, take your pick. Mix them all together and add a little teeny bit of primal rage, and you've got no more curfew...

Either that or convince his mom he should host it there. Then he can't possibly break his curfew.
