- Congratulation Bella for surviving 100 years. Not many beings can claim this honour since the weak are quickly taken care of... ummm... yeah...
If Chuckee Cheese is too kiddy we can always comprimise and go to Reds... Can I bring Ernie?

well Paras, I am sure you will be happy to know that, at least
according to my 1710 page tome of a dictionary (bigger may not
be better, but apparently it is righter (more right)), exactitude
IS a word. It's right there on page 483. Now we can all sleep
at night.
But the real reason for my post is that I took my dog to the vet
today (she has an infection in her ear) and there was a chart on the
wall where your dog's age in 'dog years' is calculated according to
their weight. (large dogs have a much shorter life span than small
dogs). The highest category was 55 lbs and over (Belle is 78) which
informed me that at age 11 my dog will be approximately 100 dog years
old. And Belle's 11th birthday is this Sunday. So there you go.

- I wasn't so sure about that Percy-birthday-idea, but it is Bert, and he is my current fear expert (stupid alarmist Ernie), so I'm on board.
- Why didn't I preface this list with some attempedly-witty intro?
- Should the page title change to "So that Alison can rant and I can exercise my scroll wheel"? Or is that too self-explanatory?
- Why is it that when my arm hurt and I took Motrin, my arm still hurt and now I have a headache?
- Why is it that I still don't know if exactitude is a word?
- Why am I constantly asking questions and not actually making segues?
- Why is Frank "Monkeyboy" Cho such a brilliant cartoonist?

- hey, something more to add
(without doing anything to make it work on your site, sorry Paras)
I don't know if many of you will get a kick out of this,
but it seems interesting.
MoveOn.org has been running an advertising contest
to create the most informative ads depicting the evils of George Bush
They have the 15 finalists on their site www.bushin30seconds.org
for your viewing pleasure.
Should be some good stuff to go through.

- well, Jesse, thanks for the sympathy. So far it hasn't been too bad
but then again, i haven't had that nasty Tuesday yet.
We had to move one of my classes to Tuesday from Wednesday
Renewable Resources is just plain strange that way.
Beck, how often do you think people with well-sculpted bodies like that
evolution man sit in front of their computers completely naked?
It can't possibly be true.... (just for that reason)
hmm... what happened to upright man?
I like the guy standing tall with the stick best, let's go back to that.
(Paras, I have decided to use your provided web space as an area for ranting,
I hope that's okay, well really, whatever.
You wanted definitions of this space, and this appears to be how I see it.)
Anyway, so my student group is having a theme week next week.
We've invited people to come speak for our students
on various topic pertaining to our degrees.
Thus far, we've scheduled 2.
But, 2 more were invited by another member of our group.
He had also arranged to have the Armoury host a fundraiser thing for us.
But he hasn't told any of us any of the details or contact information
and nothing has happened this week
so I basically have NO idea if his presenters are coming,
if they need rooms, nor if we actually have something at the bar on Friday.
arrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!
as for the "with great power comes great responsibility" line,
where's my great power???
and on a less happy note, my mom's going in for surgery today
and i can't feel anything but a sense of foreboding
I know she'll be fine,
and i'm sure it's just my fear of surgery getting to me
but all the same it's really unnerving to feel like something could happen
I need her to stick around for a long long time to come, we all do.
