- hey Al seen this recently?

A Japanese scientist has developed a coat which appears to make the wearer invisible.
The illusion was part of a demonstration of optical camouflage technology at Tokyo University.
It is the brainchild of Professor Susumu Tachi who is in the early stage of research he hopes will eventually make camouflaged objects virtually transparent.
The photograph was taken through a viewfinder that uses a combination of moving images taken behind the wearer to give a transparent effect.
It's hoped the technology will be useful for surgeons frustrated their own hands and surgical tools can block their view of operations and pilots who wish cockpit floors were transparent for landings.

- Here's a good one. I found this clip of a wacky show from the States that parodies Sesame Street and similar shows in a very warped fashion.
All I will say is "it's raining meat. Just like in my nightmares!"
Enjoy!

I saw an ad for The Bear's New Year's party in the paper today, and it had some troubling news. It mentioned how Big Sugar would be playing there in their last live show! Could this be the end of the road for Big Sugar? Either way, I'm not liking the sound of this one bit...

- Hahahahahahaha... The RIAA makes me laugh
"Though it would appear that record companies are still making their money and that artists are still getting rich, these impressions are mere fallacies"
"The consumer is the ultimate victim, as pirated product is generally poorly manufactured and does not include the superior sound quality, art work, and insert information included in legitimate product."

- Although I respect Nintendo more than most of their counterparts I must say I'm disappointed with their method of online and multi-system play. Reading the manual it sounds like all you need is a regular LAN crossover cable, but on inspection of my gamecube I found no ports for such a cable. On further research it turns out that you need an adapter which facilitates the plugging in of the ethernet cable and the gamecube.
Would it have killed them just to use an ethernet port? Probably not but this is a way to scam another $35-50 US from all their users.
Bastards.
Not only that but as far as I can tell they are in short supply and I really don't like to buy stuff online unless I have to.
Pete - any at Toys "R" Us? Let me know if there are, or if you are getting any!

- Al, why would you need a stealth suit if you're clear? And how could a stealth suit possibly not hide you if you're clear?
Oh yeah, and for a quirk of the internet, go to Google, type in "miserable failure" and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button.
