That's funny, because the same thing happened when I was talking to Beck during the St. Louis game. It was 3-0. Then I get a series of messages. '3-1'. Feck. '3-2'. Feck. '3-3'. Feck. '4-3'. Feck. (etc.)

Even more strange, was that I was out tonight and, on the way home, I listened to the radio. 30 seconds after I turn it on, I hear Hemsky score. 'Great,' I think. Then they say it's 4-3. 'Hmmm,' I think. Then they say that the Oilers led 2-0 at one point. 'Feck,' I think. But, a few minutes later, Moreau scores. 'Yeah,' I think, 'they scored and my brother didn't crash the car.' (He was driving and celebrating.)

The overtime was amazing, though. Mike York was a man possessed tonight. He set up glorious chance after glorious chance... Now, watch them lose 6 straight.

Well then Leo, how's this for an irony...
I watch the hockey game and we're up two nothing. I start channel surfing, come back and they've scored four goals. I've pretty much given up now, but I have to wonder, is beck as cursed as I am blessed??

Ah... nice and clean again - it actually loads faster on my crappy work connection.
    Thanx Jess, halloween was great

And to all you hippocritanical landmasses out there I need an suggestions for something to do with my website since Paras decided it was a homegrown link. I was thinking of a competing message board, one with a never-ending thread hahaha.

Now back to killing mice in a nice, euphemistic, genetics sort of way...

first of the month is always great- it's like starting a fresh page of clean crisp paper, even though it's getting close to the end of the notebook. All these great plans for this month- swear the won't be broken this month, "i'm going to keep up with my reading is school" "eat a lot more healthier" "go out with friends more" "have fun" "save money" - all of this great ideas for the month - and then, then it happens - the alarm goes off, i wake up, and it all goes out the window.

    Happy November 1st

P.S. - thanks again Jess for the fun night last night - it's always good to go out with friends
