as can't think of anything interesting to put in this space

Don't worry, Mary. We still love you. It's just that no one (other than me) checks this often enough to respond quickly enough. (Of course, Beck maybe qualifies, but if you aren't writing in the middle of the night, or your name isn't "Frenchie," he may not respond.)

Now this is how you drink a beer

Some genius found that on really hot days, he couldn't savour his Guinness outside, because it would warm up too quickly. Thus, naturally, he decided build something to cool his beer. (Why do things the easy way, when you can play with a soldering gun?) Here he chronicles the adventure of building a Guinness cooling system using nothing more than a cooling fan, a bunch of batteries, duct tape, network cable, ... Okay, so it's a lot of stuff. But it's pretty cool, if not sad.

While I'm on the topic of things that would make Scotty proud, here's a nice little website devoted to what made this country great (?), The Finger. There's a lovely GIF there which gets the point across quite nicely.

Well, Beck, funky stuff happens when you don't close the quotation marks on your links. If only there were some way to check what your post looked like, before you actually posted...

But yeah, those monkeys are really out there.

Don't know what happened there... it was supposed to say:
They made monkeys able to control robotic arms using only their thoughts... the full story here
Is this the beginning of the end?

as hasn't posted in 11 posts? Impossibl-uh!

Uh... Yeah. Some ... uh... interesting posts back there. As usual, I will ignore them all, and bring you another brilliant corner of the internet. This is brought to by X-Entertainment (no, not that kind. You can find that kind of entertainment without my help.)

If you think marketing folk are brilliant these days, you obviously don't remember the 80s. Here's one piece of marketing that spells brilliant fusion of synergy (or some other such marketing term):

    C-3P0's !!!

    A New Force at Breakfast!

I can't get over the genius behind that name. I can imagine the board meeting:

Oww. Too much red meat. Figurative arteries... clogging.

Uh, yeah. Click on the link above to find more great 80s commercials.

It'sd my new plan from now on the shamelessly add laugh tracks to everything that I write. hahahahahahaha. In this manner, I am not only causing a short term and really annoying joke, but, I'm also insulting your intelligence!! hahahahahahahahahaha! But then, it's been proven, even by my own experiences that when someone else laughs, you are way more likely to laugh. So now, when you are using this sight as a means of escaping doing some homework, which requires lots of thought, you no longer have to think about when to laugh!!!! hahahahahaha

Brought to you by the happy folks at laugh a lot.
