Well I'm most of the way through Season 1, so I guess we're nearly done.

    "I'm priceless"

By the by, while we're talking about cartoon series, it seems that Seth Macfarlane has been called on once again by Fox. He's making a series called American Dad. It could be out next year. This is on top of the supposed Family Guy Movie that is to be made.

    ...

I'm never going to get any work done.

as loves slightly twisting old jokes to claim as his own

Well, I made some progress on the artificially stupid dog, so here's some stuff for you folks. They are slightly related, but only if you don't think about it:
    • First, what I'd like to do to a computer:

      (not mine, of course)

    • Next, the answer to the age old question, why are dark Guinness' bubbles light?

(Also, here's a slightly overcooked joke from Wil Wheaton (the kid with the leeches from "Stand By Me" (also Wesley Crusher on Star Trek (he has his own weblog now (WilWheaton.net))))):

The leaders of the big beer companies meet for a drink. The president of Budweiser orders a Bud, the CEO of Miller gets a Miller, the head of Coors orders a Coors, and so on. Until it's Arthur Guinness's turn. He orders a soda.

"Why didn't you order a Guinness?" everyone asks.

Guinness replies, "if you guys aren't having beer, then neither will I."

    • Finally, a Homer moment: Red Lobster Endless Crab Offer Gobbled Up Chain's Profits

That's it from me. If I survive this weekend, you may thank those lovely sacrifices to Pele, Hawaiian God(dess?) of Fire.
