- I'm sure lots of people are home, Al. Relaxing. Not working. Not wanting to crush frustrating hardware companies. Not slowly going insane and continuously posting on their own message boards.
Home must be nice.

Not to plan to far ahead but how many of you guys want to go to klondike days? We should start planning soon because they stop selling all day passes on July 16. Well I guess we'll worry about this after the big birthday weekend.

- In an effort to once again expand our vocabulary of jargon, another brilliant word, one which describes frustrations for many people:
heisenbug /hi:'zen-buhg/ n.
[from Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle in quantum physics] A bug that disappears or alters its behavior when one attempts to probe or isolate it. For example, the squeak in the floor that makes its appearance at the most annoying times, but disappears when its source is investigated. Or, much to the frustration my colleague, a signal in a circuit that only behaves correctly when its value is directly watched, and otherwise wreacks indirect havoc on the system.

- Ahh... the sweet taste of pie in the morning. It's a picture like this that makes you feel truly patriotic:

Where else but here can our most beloved politicians truly feel the warmth of a satisfied electorate through introduction to a pie? Secret service? Bah! Who needs 'em? I especially love the look on the woman in the background.
